How to moor up

1. Fore and aft trots
To port as you enter the harbour are five red and yellow cans with strops, which are secured by chains to ground chains on the harbour base. On the opposite side outside the Outhall Moorings there are three more, and all are suitable for craft between 24 and 45feet. These moorings never dry but please note that at LAT there is only 1.6m of water.

2. Sandy Beach
The red can which is central to this beach can be used as a stern mooring, with a bow rope then secured to a ring on the harbour wall.

3. Outhall Moorings
There are twenty outhall moorings situated alongside East Quay. These are let in advance for the period from May to October, and are suitable for boats up to 18 feet. The cost for the 2022 Season is £530.
