There\u2019s plenty to do and see, and a few suggestions are listed below. A leisurely stroll will reveal beautiful scenery and sea views plus a close look at a busy fishing port. A walk from the lighthouse, round to the other side of the harbour mouth, and back to the jetty is almost a mile.<\/p>\n<p>Please remember that this is very much a working harbour, so there will be vehicle movement and gear to be avoided. Seagulls are lovely, but they can sometimes be aggressive. Come down, have a walk around and take in the views. Enjoy an ice cream or pasty and maybe even have a go at some crabbing on the quayside. Dogs must be kept on leads and any mess must be cleaned up. The Harbour is both steeped in history and is a modern thriving commercial fishing port. On your tour, you&#8217;ll see various local species and appreciate the diversity of local marine wildlife. Money collected from the Mevagissey Aquarium initiative is put towards the maintenance of Mevagissey Harbour. Step back in time with 3 floors of exhibitions. Inside you will get a real insight into Mevagissey\u2019s past and you can soak up a range of great artefacts celebrating the Cornish fishing port\u2019s rich fishing heritage.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s penty to see.
