Can You Please Help?

Our harbour is run by the Mevagissey Harbour Trustees, a registered charity (No: 800349). Needless to say we are always short of money!  Although the aquarium refurbishment was helped by grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Restormel Borough Council, we still have a major shortfall in funding.

We are constantly struggling to maintain our harbour, which was built in the 18th and 19th centuries. Over the last year or two there has been storm damage to the north pier, at seabed level. We also hope to renew the slipway adjacent to the boatyard.

Every year, thousands of visitors from all over the UK, and all over the world, enjoy the beauty of this fishing village and its harbour. Any help you can give towards the upkeep of the harbour and its aquarium, would be very, very much appreciated.
