Leisure Moorings

INNER HARBOUR
There are a limited number of permanent moorings allocated for leisure craft for boats capable of taking the ground safely as the harbour dries and where the owner is required to lay and maintain their own chains. However, currently there is a long waiting list with little prospect of obtaining a mooring for at least two years. It is advised anyone interested should enquire at the harbour office for further information.

PREMIER MOORINGS
We offer several moorings that are laid and maintained by harbour staff in a safe drying inner harbour, together with the use of a visitors, always afloat, outer harbour mooring when the tide time will not allow access to the inner harbour. Also included is a harbour vehicle parking pass.

MOORING SIZE:
Minimum length 30 feet
Maximum length 36 feet
Maximum Draft 4 feet 6 inches
Vessels should be capable of taking the ground safely.

SUMMER MOORINGS
Seasonal moorings are available from 1st April to 30th September, for boats up to 18 feet LOA there are a number of outhaul moorings situated at the end of the North or Island Pier and for larger vessels a limited number of fore and aft moorings in the outer harbour. It should be noted that fuel is not available to non-commercial vessels. Further details can be obtained from the harbour office.
